What is the Experience?
Myopia is a severe issue among children in Singapore. To raise awareness of the situation, an interactive RFID table is developed to showcase statistics and facts about the link between children and myopia.
The RFID table presents users with a set of movable objects, each decorated with different decals about myopia. Raising these objects will activate the installation and display informative details about each subject, as chosen by the user.
Utilising fun and interactive elements, this Multi-Touch Object Recognition Table offers both children and parents an entertaining way to learn about a highly prevalent issue.
To educate the public on the severity of myopia in a child’s early years and the repercussions it brings.
The Multi-Touch Object Recognition Table is fitted with a range of RFID sensors that react to a set of RFID tags. These tags are placed below each movable object that is decorated with decals about the topic – myopia – and its various sections.
When users lift these objects, the movement is detected by the RFID sensors. Different sets of information about myopia are connected to each object and users will lift the one that they wish to learn more about. The information is displayed on an LED screen for the user’s knowledge.
After reading the information, users may return the object to its original position and lift another object to review each myopia section sequentially.
Whether it is utilised as a gaming platform, redemption machine or directory for shoppers/travellers/visitors, or to enable transactions, our all-in-one interactive walls and kiosks provide a self-service platform complete with rich and intuitive interactive features.
Fun and functional, the Interactive RFID Table is operated by fully customisable software with 10-point capacitive touchscreens.
