What is the Experience?
In celebration of Chinese New Year, this Augmented Reality experience transforms consumers into a golden beetle. Scores of vitamins descend on the LED touchscreen, and players will dart left and right to collect these precious minerals.
The application welcomes the visitor with a pixie dust effect that outlines an iconic city skyline. The art direction takes on a sleek hue of red, symbolising the onset of the Lunar New Year.

Motion cameras atop the CNY themed booth detect the user’s movement as they stand in front.
The game begins, where left and right movements from the player are tracked and relayed to the golden beetle in-game. The aim is to collect vitamins and extracts while trying not to collide with wooden blocks that would deduct one of their 3 lives.
Their final score is determined by the quantity of items they collect, and may be featured on the game’s leaderboard if the threshold score is met.
