What is the Experience?
The Indian Heritage Centre (IHC) is an interactive museum that is powered by the community’s voices, recollections and contributions.
In this latest addition to IHC, visitors can expect an interactive touch as they celebrate the traditional Malayalee dance through an Augmented Reality Photo Booth.
Standing in front of the booth, visitors will choose from 5 different signature characters. Each character features an elaborate make-up and head gear that is commonly seen during the actual Malayalee dance. After snapping the photo, users will be able to send the soft copy of the photo to their email.
To utilise interactive technology and let visitors understand more about the traditions and art-form of a Malayalee Dance.
This interactive photo booth utilises augmented reality technology to track and map the user’s face to effectively fit 5 different signature character filters.
Once in front of the booth, visitors will tap on the screen to start the experience. They will then be able to select a Vesham and the type of Mudras they want to practise.
Visitors can then strike a pose and snap their photo. Once done, visitors can send the taken photo via email to their personal email.
