What is the Experience?
Through an omni-channel experience that bridges physical installations and online microsite activities, visitors of National Museum Singapore embark on a journey to explore the different eras of Singapore, filled with educational snippets about Singapore’s historic artefacts and iconic locations.
As visitors explore the museum, QR codes can be found around the exhibits and scanned to answer quizzes about them. After correctly answering the questions, a digital stamp is chopped on the player’s Doraemon-themed bingo card where players can redeem prizes based on how many stamps they receive.
Other activities include a fun online voting platform for visitors to vote on their favourite Doraemon gadget and a virtual lucky draw for those that pass a quiz about well-known spots and locations in Singapore. All these features are packed into Trinax’s eloquently designed microsite for users to seamlessly engage with the activities without hassle as they browse the museum.
To educate visitors of National Museum Singapore about local heritage and enable a fun omni-channel platform through physical QR codes and an online microsite, fusing the offline and online worlds together to enhance the overall museum experience.
Visitors first sign up for an account on the microsite, complete with OTP verification to keep up with cybersecurity standards. They can then explore 3 distinct experiences.
Get Curious with Doraemon:
QR codes are placed around the exhibits that lead to short quizzes about the artefacts. Once the quiz is answered correctly, a stamp is awarded on a bingo card. By collecting every stamp, users may redeem a reward via our smart redemption machine. Visitors simply scan the QR code via their phones and our kiosk will dispense the gift accordingly.
Jalan-Jalan with Doraemon:
A map of Singapore greets users when they start this activity, where fun facts about various locations in Singapore are shown along with a short quiz. Choosing the correct answer will enter them in an online lucky draw to reward them for their efforts.
Gadgets of the Future:
This activity includes an online voting platform, where votes from visitors about their preferred gadget are collected and showcased, and a gadget re-design page for users to give their own take on Doraemon’s gadgets by downloading a template and designing it offline. They can then upload the file onto the microsite for museum staff to critique and give out prizes to the most creative entries.
Whether it is utilised as a gaming platform, redemption machine or directory for shoppers/travellers/visitors, or to enable transactions, our all-in-one interactive walls and kiosks provide a self-service platform complete with rich and intuitive interactive features.
Trinax customizes branded and marketing games for platforms, such as websites and social media. Our games can be played on the computer, smartphone and the brick-and-mortar environment. Through a refined design process, these games will bring hours of laughter and joy to any individual.
