Paya Lebar Quarter (PLQ) saw the implementation of an interactive slashing game, developed to facilitate sign ups at the newly launched commercial mall. A higher game score translates into more membership points – spurring players to slash for savings!
What is the Experience?
PLQ visitors get to indulge in the benefits of signing up as a member through this multifaceted exhibition. Once visitors sign up, they may engage in an interactive game of slashing virtual objects on a large LED touchscreen to gain rewards points and save on future purchases!
In celebration of the grand opening of Paya Lebar Quarter (PLQ), Lendlease wanted to allocate an area to attract visitors to sign up for a membership with them. Through interactive games and enticing rewards, the aim was to use gamification and monetary savings to get membership subscriptions.
Patrons may sign up for a Lendlease membership at the counter and proceed to play a game on the LED touchscreen. Shopping bags will be flung across the screen for users to slash them, with certain obstacles that will deduct points if slashed. Rewards points for their lendlease membership will then be awarded based on their score in the game.
