Campaigns driving conservation and sustainability efforts are commonplace in today’s retail landscape. The challenge is to differentiate from the rest and offer a fresh approach towards a targeted audience. To overcome this obstacle, Paya Lebar Quarter, a newly-opened shopping destination of the East, got in touch with Trinax to devise a campaign that would not only support its own environmental objectives but increase footfall and participation among its visitors as well. Interactive experiences and games can go hand-in-hand with venue inaugurations by adding an element of entertainment into the event.
What is the Experience?
Residents and office-workers had been eagerly waiting for the new mall to open. The inclusion of an interactive vending machine feeds the anticipation and promotes participation among the crowd. Infographics installed alongside the vending machine also help to educate or send a message to the masses that congregate around a new venue.
Paya Lebar Quarter had two objectives – to attract new visitors to the mall and enlighten the public on eco-friendly habits. Exhibitions on environmental issues are common so the biggest obstacle was to avoid being mundane.
A vending machine with an interactive touchscreen allows users to key in their information and make purchases which are then dispensed on the spot. The inside of the vending machine is also filled plastic bottles that are symbolic of the event.
Whether it is utilised as a gaming platform, redemption machine or directory for shoppers/travellers/visitors, or to enable transactions, our all-in-one interactive walls and kiosks provide a self-service platform complete with rich and intuitive interactive features.
Its flexible interoperability makes it highly compatible with Trinax’s suite of branded and marketing games and applications.
